Do Israelis need a visa for Cyprus, and how long can they stay?

Short answer

No visa is needed for stays of up to 90 days in any 180-day period. Cyprus is not yet a full member of the Schengen area, so its permits and day counts are separate from Schengen's.

Once the EU's ETIAS travel authorisation starts, Israelis will need it for Cyprus as for the Schengen countries. It is not running yet; the European Commission expects it in the last quarter of 2026.

A visit does not allow work. To stay longer, or to work, apply for a residence permit before the 90 days are used up.
