What is the UBO Register?
Short answer
The Registrar's register of beneficial owners: the natural persons who ultimately own or control a Cyprus company.
A new company registers its beneficial owners within 90 days of incorporation, reports changes when they happen, and confirms the position once a year, between 1 October and 31 December.
A beneficial owner is recorded whoever the registered shareholder is.
