Is there still an annual company levy in Cyprus?

Short answer

No. The annual company levy was abolished from 1 January 2024. Levies for the years up to 2023 are still owed if they were never paid.

The Registrar has announced that, from December 2026, companies that have not paid the levy for any year from 2012 to 2023 go into the strike-off process. If you are taking over or reviving an older company, check this first.

The yearly obligations that remain are the beneficial-owner confirmation, the Annual Return with the financial statements, and the tax and VAT filings.
