What is a certifying officer?
Short answer
A person appointed under Cyprus rules to certify signatures and true copies of documents.
The Ministry of Justice accepts a private document for an apostille only after a certifying officer or an advocate has certified it.
We are neither. We book the certification with the advocate or a certifying officer, bring the document, and take it on to the apostille or the translation from there.
