What are the personal income tax rates in Cyprus for 2026?

Short answer

From tax year 2026: nothing on the first €22,000 of taxable income, then 20% up to €32,000, 25% up to €42,000, 30% up to €72,000 and 35% above that.

The 2026 reform raised the tax-free band and added deductions: an amount for each child, rent or mortgage interest on your main home, and energy upgrades or an electric car, each with income limits.

Every Cyprus tax resident aged 25 to 70 now files a tax return, whatever their income. The return for 2026 is due by 31 July 2027.
