Will my UK State Pension be frozen if I live in Cyprus?
Short answer
No. A UK State Pension paid to someone living in Cyprus goes up every year in line with the UK rate, whenever you moved.
The yearly increase applies across the EU, the EEA and Switzerland; the State Pension is frozen only in some countries outside them.
Under the UK–Cyprus tax treaty, the State Pension is taxed only in the country where you are resident, so Cyprus taxes it once you live here.
